Activists in St. Paul are asking protestors who intend to come out to participate in Anti-RNC actions to avoid Critical Mass today. As FOX News and the Minnesota Independent report, police sweeps seem likely.

In related news, the Pioneer Press reports that police have already shut down “Bushville,” an activist camp established for low-income protestors to participate in RNC activities while squatting in a public park. “In training at the time of the incident,” the Press reports, officers “responded with full crowd control gear — batons, helmets and at least one assault rifle.”
