		<description>Thank you Sonali. great piece. i actually belong to feminist majority. Maybe not anymore. You are so totally right about what war- ANY war does to women and children. 
when the u.s. started talking about hitting Afghanistan after  9/11 i was furious. i already knew quite a lot about the country, how poor and hungry and war weary they were, and also what a humanitarian disaster falling bombs would certainly be. Oh and that the actual guys who drove planes into the towers were already dead. and had been Saudis anyway. I am also a big and loyal fan of Malalai Joya!

why can&#039;t we ever get leaders like her?</description>
