Our dear friend Rachel Bagby, who lead us in song and spirit as we surrounded the White House with 10,000 women in 2003, has put together this oh-so-timely and oh-so-necessary website (votekindly.org). She always has her finger on the pulse of positivity. Thank you Rachel! We love you!

I have to tell you right off that I cannot be neutral on Barack Obama versus John McCain. I am a progressive for Obama. I understand CODEPINK is a 501c-3 and cannot endorse candidates. That said, I strongly support CODEPINK's efforts to pressure the Obama campaign on Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and etcetera etcetera.

According to a new poll, white women fans of Obama are jumping ship to vote for McCain/Palin, because — of course! — Palin is a woman. Forget her positions on the war, abortion, drilling, evolution, health care, education for all — she’s XX! Has ovaries! She’s a mommy! By golly, that’s all women need to [...]
