Julia is CODEPINK's part time DC Coordinator.
Julia Norman is a graduate student studying Global Environmental Policy at American University’s School of International Service (SIS). She earned her BA in Political Economy UC Berkeley in 2020, and has since focused on issues pertaining to sustainable food systems. She joined CODEPINK with the Justice for Palestine Campaign, and is passionate about addressing the consequences the war economy has on the environment, climate, and human rights. In her free time, she volunteers with Food Prints, a DC FRESHARM food and nutrition educational program, and is a member of the DC Peace Team.
