Col. (Ret) Ann Wright and Jimmy Leas have just returned from Sicily. As ground support for the most recent US Flotilla to Gaza, Ann will speak about the history of the flotillas, including the Mavi Marmara, which Ann was part of, where 10 people were killed by the Israeli forces. Jimmy will speak about his experience on the most recent flotilla.
They will also connect the flotillas’ mission to break the siege of Gaza, and bring the world's attention to Israeli occupation of Palestine, with conflicts and imperial violence around the world, including Cuba, Iran, and Venezuela.
